Dormitory Block

Our indoor sleeping accommodation has recently been completely refurbished and is an ideal space to host indoor residential experiences. The building’s well designed layout offers bedrooms, kitchen, washing facilities, boot room and a large multi-use space for eating and games. Situated just inside the main car park, bordering on the woodland, it is an ideal location for groups of all ages.

The Dormitory block has centrally controlled fire alarms for your peace of mind

Bedrooms

The dormitory block will comfortably sleep 30 people with bunks in each room. All have mattresses, however we do not offer bedding or pillows, so we suggest you bring your own.

All the rooms have a wall mounted electric heater and storage cabinets to keep your personal belongings safe.

Toilets & Showers

The building offers male and female washrooms. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer disabled access toilets in this building. All of our guests have access to showering facilities, including disabled, located in our toilet block on the main camping field. These facilities are available 24 hours a day.

Kitchen
The Kitchen offers all you’ll need during your stay, including pots, pans, trays, cooking utensils, cutlery, and crockery.

Please note, we are unable to supply kitchen consumables such as dishwasher tablets, kitchen towel, drying towels etc.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
