About Us

Thank you for taking the time to view what we have to offer at the Leslie Sell Activity Centre.

Here at LSAC we aim to offer an unforgettable experience to our guest. We provide a traditional service, with activities such as fire lighting, pioneering, woodcraft and many more. We also offer more adventurous activities such as archery, shooting and caving.

In pride of place at the top of the camping field is The Lodge, officially opened in May 2022 – an incredibly impressive log cabin accommodation block with a fully equipped kitchen, accessible access, large indoor activity area, WiFi, and room for 48 to sleep. Please note that The Lodge is currently only available for Scouting organisations to hire.

We have some fantastic facilities on site to allow for an easier camping experience including newly refurbished toilets, hot showers, custom-built washing up area, and 16A power connections.

One key advantage of our location in Bedford is being close to both Milton Keynes and Bedford, which host a great choice of activities and amenities. There are many offsite ‘must-dos’ to take advantage of.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
